serra

A landscape translated into a tactile composition. Inspired by the intersecting peaks visible from the studio, Serra uses the physical properties of natural cotton to "paint" a horizon. Through a rhythmic variation of weaving and hand-knotting techniques, the work captures the silhouette of mountains meeting beneath an expansive sky.

It is an exploration of the artist’s philosophy of painting with texture—where depth, shadow, and perspective are created not through pigment, but through the weight, direction, and tension of the fiber.
