duality
An exploration of opposing forces held within a singular timber frame. This work navigates the transition from the disciplined stillness of a flat plain weave into a disruptive, hand-knotted relief. As the fiber gains volume, the sculpture breaks the traditional boundary of the frame, moving from a two-dimensional plane into a three-dimensional presence. It is a study of the moment structure becomes organic.
