The Intuitive Line
The Hope Series represents the most visceral and instinctive expression within the Atelier archive. Born during a period of personal transition, these works abandon predetermined grids in favor of a free-form, organic dialogue between the hand and the fiber.
The technical signature of Hope is its unrepeatable topography. Each piece is a singular iteration of "freestyle" knotting, where the tension and direction are guided entirely by intuition rather than a technical blueprint. Utilizing found natural branches as the primary supports, the series honors the raw, unrefined origins of the medium. The branch is not merely a hanger, but a structural extension of the work's organic logic.
By surrendering control to the medium, Hope explores the "unplanned beauty" that emerges when the hands are the only guides. It is a study of resilience and spontaneity, proving that even outside the boundaries of traditional architecture, fiber can create its own sense of strength and place.
Provenance: Studio Originals. (These works have served as the blueprint for multiple bespoke iterations).
